Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Kai account at any time, directly from inside the app.

From the app (recommended)

1. Open Kai on your phone.
2. Tap the menu (☰) in the top-left corner.
3. Go to Settings → Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently removed within seconds.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, goals, about-me, injuries).
• Every conversation with Kai and all messages within them.
• Imported training data (Hevy CSVs, sync history).
• Any push notification tokens.
• Subscription and usage records on our side.
• Your authentication record itself.

Subscription billing is handled by the App Store or Google Play. Cancelling your subscription is separate from deleting your account. You can do either independently from your device’s subscription settings.

Can’t access the app?

If you can’t open the app for any reason, email privacy@kaicoach.app from the address you used to sign up. We’ll verify your identity and delete your account manually within 7 days.

Backups

Encrypted backups may retain copies of deleted data for up to 30 days before being permanently overwritten. After that window, recovery is not possible from any source.
